The Chaser

1
In the beginning, God created
    man in his own image
       and likeness.

2
A little later on, he created
           woman.

3
"Young man, your wife's
 mother is about to say
  a few words to you!"

4
"He's getting beyond
 control - He's been
 out to lodge until
 eight-thirty every
 night this week --"

5
A lodge uniform is
  good for at least
one purpose - an alibi.

6
"Take off that uniform,
 you chaser! You're
 not an Elk -- you're
     a rooster!"

7
"I'll show you how to
 run around after wine,
 women and blondes! -"

8
"-- you'll finish your
 chasing behind the
        bars!"

9
"- When I remonstrated
 with him - he stabbed
 me between the kitchen
 table and the radio --"

10
"I find that a divorce is
 not advisable in this
         case."

11
"A husband of this type
 should be brought to his
 senses in another way."

12
"- I am going to give this
 man punishment that
 will make him realize his
  responsibilities --"

13
"This ought to make him
   a perfect husband!"

14
"I don't care -- it's a
 wonderful victory for
       us girls!"

15
"-- And I want eggs
 for my breakfast!"

16
"What! No eggs?"

17
"What a lovely morning,
       Madame!"

18
"You purchased this a
 year ago - - and
 nothing's been paid
      on it!"

19
"What! You don't
    want it?"

20
"You don't seem to get
 along very well with
 your husband, do
        you?"

21
"You sissy!"

22
"Now girls, I want you
to see how I drive my
       husband!"

23
"From the way things
 look, her husband should
 have been driven slow
 for the first thousand
        miles!"

24
"It looks like the honey-
 moon of a companionate
       marriage!"

25
"He's gone!"

26
"Something terrible has
 happened in the
      kitchen!"

27
"Well, goodnight, dearie -
 we've had a lovely
      evening!"

28
"EXTRA! EXTRA! Skirts
 drive man to suicide!"

29
"Poor boy! After all,
 he was my husband."

30
"Don't worry, darling.
 I have a feeling we'll
 find him very much
        alive."

31
"Take off those skirts!
 Be a man before your
    voice changes."

32
"It looks like him - but
 it's only a scarecrow!"

33
"You're married - you
 don't know anything
    about women!"

34
"Bud!"

35
"Somebody will pay
 for this -- with his
       life!"

36
"Next time you go out
 with me - - wear a
       muzzle!"

37
In the beginning, God created
    man in his own image
       and likeness.
